One more week, everyone! Well, one more week and a few days. August 31 is still the deadline. Bang creators and complement creators should have their final, completed, revised, and beta'ed fanworks posted to Ante Up: The Losers Big Bang 2012 Collection. (Posting Tutorial for handy reference.)

Hey, everyone! We are two weeks away from the August 1 posting date for big bang drafts. In this final stretch, we need to know which bang creators are confident that they will be able to post their fanwork to the Ante Up: Losers Big Bang 2012 Collection on Archive of Our Own. Please remember: you only have to post your draft, and your bang has to meet the minimum size requirements for a bang work. You'll still have until August 31 to polish, edit, add to, and further refine your fanwork.

We, the mods, will be tossing up a tutorial with detailed instructions for how to post to the Collection to ensure that your fanwork remains hidden until go-live on August 31. For those who have created multimedia fanworks (art, podfic, photographs, vids, etc.), we can host your fanwork! Please e-mail a draft of your fanwork to either kisahawklin[at]gmail[dot]com or lady[dot]krysis[at]gmail[dot]com. This draft work will serve as a placeholder, and we will provide you with the html to include in your post. This html will not change. We'll simply update hosting to the completed works when you send them to us.

Complement Creators: Please let us know if you're still good for the August 31 posting date. If you're dependent on your bang creator to finish a draft before you start your complement, but you still think you'll be okay to do it if they come in on the August 1 date, then note that. If you're working on your fanwork and your bang creator has dropped out, you can still post! We want all the fanworks that will be finished — bangs, complements, everything. Each work is loved and cherished, and we want to showcase all the Losers fanworks that we can.

With all the explanation out of the way, this is how this check in and following check-ins will work. All comments are screened. Please respond to your team's top level comment and let us know if you are dropping out as a bang creator or complement creator or if you are on track for the August 1 draft date and the August 31 final go-live date.

If you are dropping out, you do not have to tell us why or provide any explanations. We understand that things happen, and we appreciate your effort, inspiration, and participation.
