Funny how everything looks better when I'm no longer exhausted.

Anyway. Today I'm making posole verde and beans (partially for inspiration, partially because I've been craving posole and anything verde is good, in my opinion) and getting stuff written.

I am so sorry. But I'm trying to get this out, really. *hugs the team* (and seriously, my computer is on it's last legs, I can't run internet, music player and word processor at the same time any more, so I'll keep you updated in my search for a new tower.)

Pooch's first instinct when he saw a strange woman near his babies was to draw on her.

He barely heard Jolene and Andrea bitching him out, his girls frantically trying to stop him. He was so tired but he was damned if he wasn't going to keep his family safe.

The woman raised her hands to shoulder level and looked at Pooch. Her eyes were calm, too calm.

"I'm Molly." the woman said.

Pooch blinked when the meaning of her words sunk in. Suddenly the world snapped back into focus; he could hear Jolene promising him holy hell if he didn't put his fucking gun away; he could hear Andrea swear worse than any soldier; he could hear how scared his girls were.

"You're -"

Molly raised her chin, glaring, "I'm Jacob's wife. Jensen sent me to help."

Translation: I didn't tell them what's going down, don't fuck this up Pooch thought. He eased back the hammer and tucked his revolver back into the holster at the small of his back.

"Sorry 'bout that. Can't be to careful." Pooch said, unf-ing as the girls slammed into him.

Molly lowered her arms and quirked half a grin, "No worries."

Still not progress on the storyboard but I'm probably going to be reviewing some tutorials this week to see if I can actually do some of the things I want to do or not. Then I'll see how it goes from there.

I'm finally on to rereading the comics, making a few notes as I go. I'm slow, I know. Had a few other things to get out of the way, and my focus and state of mind hasn't been the best lately. Some words did actually happen one day, not on this story, but they go together and form sentences and stuff, so I'm taking it as a good sign.

I am at nearly 5k of terrible draft and not even close to half-way done! 10k would already be the longest thing I've successfully completed by a few thousand words -- more than that looks like a pretty impossible task. Advice, encouragement, or aforementioned kick in the pants, anyone?

Okay, so I have accomplished absolutely nothing. I'm on a really bad downswing, so everything I do sucks and is worthless, and I don't know how to pull off so many words, even though I already have a ton of words already.

Now that work has slowed down (moderately), I'm hoping to take some time to recover first and then *sighs* I don't know. Guess we'll see.

Hello! Hello! lady_krysis gently, kindly nudged me in email, and I went from the anxious-avoidance of the last few weeks to actually Making Good Art in about two minutes flat. I have spent much of the day excited by words and not being anxious about work, and this is a wonderous, wonderous improvement of my Saturday.

I don't know that I have finalised bits to send for Making (literal) Good Art, but my god, some of them are close enough to taste. *excited*
