Hey Losers! It's time for our first check-in! No worries if you're still thinking and feel free to squeak in and sign up if you missed it, we're just going to get started on the weekly accountability so people have a place to talk about their projects that isn't the sign-up post.

Checking in also--have done some homework on obtaining the all-important Hat (may know more mid-week) and did some serious dust-busting and impedimenta reduction at my place which was badly needed. Also realized I have acquired lots of things in higgledy-piggled fashion while dreamily assuming I could just put my hand down on something right where I put it. Umm, no.

I know I'll get great picspam from some of the other Bangs, but I'm thinking I'll need to decide not just on what scenes we want to dramatise, but pix of the costumes that matter in those scenes. I may not be able to get real close, but hey, I can try for camo pants if we do the stealing-helicopter scene ("Shut up, Roque, *you're* dead!") Not *entirely* sure what Roque and Clay wearing in the banana-car scene, but it's probably Clay's black suit and white shirt. Same as with full-scale cosplay, what am I imitating here??

Also, do folks want to sort things out in public comments here, or do you want a separate blog such as a tumblr group (not entirely familiar with tumbr to do that, but I know it's a thing) or g+ or comm here on DW for discussion? I'm open any which way.

ETA:
While dustbusting I came across drawing notebooks, and I considered it might be useful to draw setups and diagram out ideas on how to show scenes like the banana car.
It needs the buildup of Roque complaining, for instance, because if it's only an injoke for folks who've seen the movie if you just give Clay's line to Roque, "Are you afraid to be seen in an American classic?"
