Hallo everybody! Now that the New Year is underway, it's time to remind you that your Ante Up fanworks are due on January 21st, 2013. Here are some tutorials on how to post to the AO3. Please be sure to post to the Ante Up: The Losers Fanwork Exchange 2013 - there are a couple of easy ways to do that (when you click on the "Post New Work" button, there's a checkbox right in the headers with your Ante Up assignment, or you can click on the "Assignments" link and choose Ante Up: The Losers Fanwork Exchange there (there's a "Fulfill" button)). If you need help, please comment, we'd be happy to help you with getting your fanwork uploaded.

Also, please remember, if you're going to put up graphics, podfics, vids, or other items that need to be hosted, please send to one of the mods (contact a mod post) so we can post on our regular hosting site (so we can keep them anon until reveals) - we'll send you the link(s) back, and code for streaming, if you want to do that.

I pounded out 6,500 words (!!) in December, and I've started the slow process of rewriting the opening, and am about to start the: "What other ideas am I including in here? How much more does this need? Is it going to be a terrifying amount?" tentative exploration.

I'm also about to get on a plane and hang out with meghanc for three weeks (omg!). I'm only taking my nexus 7, and will be buying a keyboard while I'm over there, because omg no way am I trying to compose on that alone.

But so far, so good! \o/ LOSERS, YAY!

I can say from experience that composing on a Nexus 7 is doable, but really flipping annoying. I like Writer (free minimalist word processing app) better than Google docs/drive.
