Definitely going to spend a chunk of tomorrow working on this. I need to free write a few scenes, just to get them out, and edit them into a cohesive fic.

It says we're allowed to chat in the comments, and I'm taking that in a broad sense, since I need a bit of crowd sourcing. I think I've mentioned it before, but I'm new to this fandom, and while that's all very exciting for me, given so many fan works to experience for the first time, it's working against me in two ways.

1) Is there a fandom-agreed name for Baby Pooch? Or just whatever strikes the fancy of the writer?

2) Is there a fandom-agreed name for what Jolene calls Pooch? I feel like Pooch is more of an army/buddy name, but I can't quite see her calling him Linwood.

I'm unscreening your comment, in case anyone else would like to answer your questions, but here is my take on them:

1. No, no single fanon name. Whatever strikes your fancy (the same is true of Jensen's sibling and neice (though fanon usually agrees it's a sister, not a brother)).

2. No again. I agree Pooch doesn't really seem like something Jolene would call him, and I've seen "Lin" which I really like, but I don't think there's any overall agreement about it.

This fandom is super awesome in that we just love great stories, so there isn't any particular consensus as far as names go for baby Pooch or what Jolene calls Pooch.

I know personally, I've gone with 'Lin' since Pooch sounds more like a team thing.

I say go with whatever you feel comfortable with or whatever feels good for the story.
