Present and accounted for! This week was supe-from-hell week, so after tonight's shift my brain should actually work so we can get cracking on writing a hell of a lot more for a week, until I lag again. Spuri's been writing like a rockstar, though.

WE'VE PASSED 7K! \o/ and we're maybe 1/3 of the way through the outline, so we're doing pretty well on that front. If we keep on like this, we're looking at about 22k minimum or so?

The playlist has possibly six songs on it, and I'm digging through my instrumental folders to find more. Because if there's one thing I have a lot of, it's music of all genres rattling around.

Oh god, that's miserable. I hope you at least like traveling to start with, otherwise it's even more hellacious. Hopefully they're pretty trees?

I totes enjoy traveling! But it's also exhausting at the same time and fucks with my eating schedule (which tends to be nonexistent as is. Working on that.).

But the trees are gorgeous! The torrential rains not so much.

Hahaha. OMG. AND MY TRAVELS TOOK ME TO THIS AMAZING RESTAURANT IN GREENVILLE, AND IT SERVED DELICIOUS DELICIOUS CREPES. *noms noms noms* And now I weep, because it is once again a far away dream. Alas.

One day, one day I will get some flipping crepes again, and that is probably where I will settle down and stake a claim on anyone trying to mess with my crepe making peeps. Which sounds a little violent, but the point stands.

Oh god, rain. I remember driving from San Antonio to Ohio and having to pull off the side of the road because I could not decide where the road was because I couldn't see it, it was raining that hard. The one cockatiel in the car went "yay, mommy time!" and snuggled me until we could get going again, while the other cockatiel went "OH MY GOD WE'RE GONNA DIE."

*hugs* Eating is good for you! If very difficult to remember to do and find food that actually sounds good.

Last week started out good, but unexpected work+unexpected pain slowed me down a bit. I actually cooked/baked more than I wrote this weekend.

Tequila-lime curd and baileys custard were both super good, though.

Oh my god, those both sound fantastic!

On my baking front, I've found several local gluten-free bakeries which I will be trying out and seeing if they can give me any tips. :D :D :D

Recipes here and here, if you wanna try them out. Though fair warning, I halved the Baileys one, and it was still a LOT of custard, so yeah.

The tequila-lime one is very, idk, I'm not sure sour is the right word, but it has a very strong citrus-y kick, so in my opinion, it's best paired with something to soften it up a bit. I'm still experimenting, but among other things, I tried it with milk chocolate ice cream, and that was a surprisingly delicious combination.

Awesome! It's always nice to have someone to ask for advice and tips, especially when you're trying something like gluten-free baking, since a lot of the ingredient substitutes can make doughs and such act differently from what you're used to.
