Things are safe, but I'm really glad family member was right there to see the sparks in time!
Well, looks like new stove is in order. Eeep--it had to involve the control panel too, it wouldn't stop pulling juice until we cut off the breakers.
However, I have delegated homework on getting a new one to less tense family members, and decided it was the wiser part of valor to distract myself from that stuff with podficcing. So I managed to do little short bits until I got through the whole Sniper story tonight. I think it's done, unless there's some messed-up bits I haven't caught.
Should I email the file to you?
Now it's exported as an mp3, the player is showing it as 1:43:24 long, though that seems weirdly longer than I was expecting. Almost 97,000 KB file size, if that's any help. I'm not sure if that makes it too big to email as one file.

If you can email it, go for it, I'll put it up and send you the code to embed. Otherwise I think you put it in a googledoc before and shared it, right? kisahawklin at gmail is me.

Also - I think I might record the podfic too - as a remix of yours. Joe just replied to my comment too, saying they wouldn't mind more than one, and I'm a huge fan of multiple interpretations of a work. If you'd rather I didn't, though, let me know - I don't want to step on any toes, either.

I ended up sending it via shared gdrive, it defaulted to that automatically.

Actually, I don't think it did - I got an email, not an invite. Unfortunately, with my internet out, I can't download it right now. I'll have to do that next week and send you the embed code.

Hmm, sounds like the attack of RealLife hit your house too...
At our end, there was much jubilation, when a stove on speshul sale with chain store was procured via Internet today, and possibly may show up here before June 1.

Little bit, yeah. Thunderstorms messed up our internets, I think. Nothing so serious as a stove sparking, though, glad you're getting a new one!
