Things are safe, but I'm really glad family member was right there to see the sparks in time! Well, looks like new stove is in order. Eeep--it had to involve the control panel too, it wouldn't stop pulling juice until we cut off the breakers. However, I have delegated homework on getting a new one to less tense family members, and decided it was the wiser part of valor to distract myself from that stuff with podficcing. So I managed to do little short bits until I got through the whole Sniper story tonight. I think it's done, unless there's some messed-up bits I haven't caught. Should I email the file to you? Now it's exported as an mp3, the player is showing it as 1:43:24 long, though that seems weirdly longer than I was expecting. Almost 97,000 KB file size, if that's any help. I'm not sure if that makes it too big to email as one file.
