New microphone for me so I may be listening to what I've got and trying the next few thousand words over the next few days. Or maybe I'll print it out and mark up some of the pronunciations. /o\

Um, didn't get this typed up again, but I'm actually getting the hang of the new job (and all the travel), so expect some actual writing to come together soon. :D

I am so sorry. But I'm trying to get this out, really. *hugs the team* (and seriously, my computer is on it's last legs, I can't run internet, music player and word processor at the same time any more, so I'll keep you updated in my search for a new tower.)

Pooch's first instinct when he saw a strange woman near his babies was to draw on her.

He barely heard Jolene and Andrea bitching him out, his girls frantically trying to stop him. He was so tired but he was damned if he wasn't going to keep his family safe.

The woman raised her hands to shoulder level and looked at Pooch. Her eyes were calm, too calm.

"I'm Molly." the woman said.

Pooch blinked when the meaning of her words sunk in. Suddenly the world snapped back into focus; he could hear Jolene promising him holy hell if he didn't put his fucking gun away; he could hear Andrea swear worse than any soldier; he could hear how scared his girls were.

"You're -"

Molly raised her chin, glaring, "I'm Jacob's wife. Jensen sent me to help."

Translation: I didn't tell them what's going down, don't fuck this up Pooch thought. He eased back the hammer and tucked his revolver back into the holster at the small of his back.

"Sorry 'bout that. Can't be to careful." Pooch said, unf-ing as the girls slammed into him.

Molly lowered her arms and quirked half a grin, "No worries."

I like it. Can't wait until the finished product.

Still no further along on the graphics though it's been on my mind. Just haven't been able to do much yet.

Still not progress on the storyboard but I'm probably going to be reviewing some tutorials this week to see if I can actually do some of the things I want to do or not. Then I'll see how it goes from there.

I'm finally on to rereading the comics, making a few notes as I go. I'm slow, I know. Had a few other things to get out of the way, and my focus and state of mind hasn't been the best lately. Some words did actually happen one day, not on this story, but they go together and form sentences and stuff, so I'm taking it as a good sign.

Go team go?

I have also acquired a bunch of DVDs I need for complements, wasted countless hours on tumblr, and made a bunch of crackvids for other fandoms... Oops.

I am at nearly 5k of terrible draft and not even close to half-way done! 10k would already be the longest thing I've successfully completed by a few thousand words -- more than that looks like a pretty impossible task. Advice, encouragement, or aforementioned kick in the pants, anyone?

Funny how everything looks better when I'm no longer exhausted.

Anyway. Today I'm making posole verde and beans (partially for inspiration, partially because I've been craving posole and anything verde is good, in my opinion) and getting stuff written.

I got approval to record an AWESOME story!

Now I just need a few hours of quiet to actually record it. But! Progress!

I found an Avengers story that involved Steve moving into Williamsburg and hanging out with hipsters doing hipstery things.

And you know what? It's been helping.
