kateJust wanted to let you know: the tutorial will be up next week some time. I seem to have come down with the plague, and haven't been to work all week (where I make my tutorials). I'm sorry for those of you sitting on your stories - if you want to post and don't want to wait for the tutorial, I can chat you through it! Just PM me and we can set up a time.
Otherwise, wanted to clarify about the deadlines, so you all can relax a little bit.
January 15, 2011: You must have a complete, full-length story posted that you wouldn't be completely embarrassed to have people read. Period. It doesn't need to be betaed yet (though if it is, so much the better).
January 15 - January 28, 2011: Tweak, get your beta, do whatever you need to do. (You can even continue to tweak after the reveal (I did that on my Yuletide story this year), but please have your beta done by January 28th before reveal.) If you need a beta, you can look for one at this post (please be sure to choose someone who is not your recipient ;) - two of the mods on that post, too).
January 28, 2011: Stories open! Read and comment! Tweak if you must, but please don't change major things with your story.
February 7, 2011: Author reveals. You'll be able to post about them elsewhere (we'll make a general post to The Losers comms on the day the stories go up), claim them, and direct all and sundry specifically to your story (we highly recommend you direct all and sundry to your gift fic when the stories go up).
