Still trying to get my head around the rules. The board is almost complete, though I still have some minor changes to make.

All in all, this is the only work that hasn't suffered under my week of doom!

And Pistol has been having awesome ideas of online gaming sessions, which would be so entirely amazing. We'll see what happens!

Hopefully I can lure more people in after they've seen the magic that is your game. We could post something on the DW and LJ Loser pages and have people tell us when is good for them, and then I could try to throw together different gaming teams at different times so everyone has a chance to play with someone! \o/

Also, you sillyhead! Your art is AMAZING all the time, don't be silly. I will love whatever you do! Also, I will totally type up everything I have so far this weekend and include you and Pistol and Krysis on the googledoc. And maybe spam you with percussion ensemble/solo percussionist links.

I sort of picture Roque as a huge, male, not-deaf Evelyn Glennie - look for her doing Bolero, it's AMAZING. Here she is giving a TED talk about How to Listen. She is AMAZING. And Roque will also be amazing, though I don't think he can really match her. Basically I have a stylistic idea about who everyone plays like, musically. For example, in the main fic, Rodney plays like Gil Shaham, and John plays like van Cliburn. Teyla plays like Marta Argerrich. I've got an idea about Cougar, but I don't know the guy's name - I will look it up. Jensen is probably going to be like Shannon from Godsmack (with additional other percussion skills). I'll have to do more research to make sure everyone has a match, but yeah. Roque's style is like Evelyn Glennie.

/o\ I knooooowwww, I just have all these dumb feelings. Funnily enough, the work I know least about (music) is the one I finished first... Inspiration kinda just jumped out at me. I even managed to include one of the instruments \o/ I think this means that I'll be able to do some side sketches too, which OMG YAY! \o/

I watched the TED video with Evelyn Glennie and you've made me possibly obsessed with marimba music. I'm kinda speechless, she's amazing, and the piece she plays at the end... omg. I need to go draw a million pieces of Roque playing the marimba with that piece in my head, now. Thank you for showing me this!
