3/5 are final. i am in the setting things on fire stage of mix revisions on the other two. hopefully will get snippets written in the next week or so. will be uploading drafts of mixes whenever i can get mediafire to cooperate. willing to PM or email out lists of songs until then.

Another quick question. I've only ever created one fanmix ever, so I know songs and artists go on the back cover, but I'm not entirely sure what text should go on the front cover. From journal stalking, I see the obvious: fanmix title and your name, of course. But is there anything else you'd like me to include for the Red and Jolene covers? I just want to make sure, so I can design with that in mind. Thanks!

Wooo!

I assume the RED one is one of the ones that's still in progress, so I'll wait for another update. (I'd probably rather see the snippet actually, so if that part is done, maybe PM me? Otherwise I can wait - no rush on my part.)

Oh - and I thought of a song that's... well, maybe it will work? It's called A Mother's Son by Europe. I don't know if it will work or not, but I thought I'd pass it on as I know you've been looking for stuff.

the mix won't tell me what it wants to be. i rearranged inception and i think i can get it to click, it's just fighting me.

the red one is severely hampered by the lack of songs about that particular parental relationship. i keep trying stuff out but finding things that work is driving me nuts. if i end up using a cover of "sweet child o mine" to make a mix work again i'm gonna scream. (i have like 6 covers of that song and none of them sound like the original. covers are my salvation for a lot of things.)

Is the Red one all about that relationship, or is that (or could that be) just one theme? Can you pad it with songs about the individual characters?

the storyline for the RED snippet is that victoria is doing her last mission with her son's team. the mix covers from jensen's childhood through her retirement. i sort of want two or three songs for different points of their relationship.

Hrrrrrrm. Did you see my comment on the post from a couple of weeks ago, and were any of those suggestions helpful? I don't know what else you have planned out for this one, so I don't know what else to try. I'll let you know if any other mother+son-type songs pop out at me.

Oh, there's "Treat Yo Mama" by the John Butler Trio; could be helpful? It's actually about environment activism (at least in the latter half of the song, the Mama in question is supposed to be Mother Earth) but could still kinda fit with the plots and some of the values in The Losers and Red.

Just wanted to let the team know that for complements, I'm creating covers for the Red and Jolene fanmixes, and if I can compile all the pics, I'm going to do some sort of graphic/picspam for the Inception fanmix, because the Losers cast looks amazing in suits.
