This is just the first check in for Ante Up: The Losers Fanwork Exchange.

You still have PLENTY of time. Fanworks should be posted to the AO3 no later than April 21, 5 a.m. ET. (See? Weeks and weeks away.)

I've been mulling on about it and reading things like bookmarked stories and kind of hoping that lightning might strike and get me excited...but I've also been sick, and I found just doing regular chores tiring. I'd hate to just write about something like that!

Oh goodness, I hope you get some rest. There's plenty of time for you to relax and recover and then think of something fun for your recipient.

I have come up with an outline for the story I want to write! Just letting it mull over in my head while I wait for life to back off a bit and give me time to write.

I'm honestly at a loss for what to do, because I'm not knowledgeable enough about the army/military to make a convincing "case fic" type stpry, and I'm trying to find something else to do that is not too off-the-wall :( but I've been trying to brainstorm, so, there's that?

I'm sure we could find somebody to beta read for you with advice on the army/military info if you want to do casefic and you need help to meet your own standards on it. There's some folks in the fandom who are really good at it. I luv cas
