There were many, many bears, mostly in the form of lack of ideas and no motivation (though I have been productively procrastinating via modly prepping for round two of cottoncandy_bingo). /o\

Then I rewatched the movie this morning, got some help jumpstarting my brain as it spluttered over getting going, and now I am sorta confident that There Will Be a Thing from me in this. \o/

I considered that perhaps every day ought to involve a rewatch of the movie, as grand as my mood was after I finished. (I always forget how much I love EVERYTHING about it.)

Took me awhile to get some traction going (the bears left a lot of mud in that path, tell you that) but there's one big chunk done and checked by my beloved beta-reader. It's. um, trying to turn into a Thing. As, apparently, all of mine do. With the multiple sections and everything. *scratches head* Also, I have no idea where it's going, but then, I never do. Much happier now that words have started.

ETA, because sometimes I'm thoughtless like this: YOU CAN DO IT! *\o/* My stuff always tries to turn into ~things~ too. I have to wrangle them pretty hard to get them into shape. Good luck!

I have enough as long as I tack on a conclusion, but then one of the characters ran away (Not LITERALLY. Well, a little literally?) and I waas kind of exploring it, so it could be a THING or I might not be able to finish the THING before the deadline and I'll just forcibly wrangle the char (who ran away at the 1k mark because SERIOUSLY.) and then it won't be a THING.

No bears though.

Not yet at least.

There were words. Then came bears when I got to Clay and Roque interacting. (I hope I get it right). Then grad classes restarted. Then this and I'm like "Sh** I need to finish it". Thank goodness it's only the first full week of classes so not a lot of actual schoolwork stuff for me to freak over yet. So this week I'll finish it.
