Ante Up Big Bang Deadlines

Hey, everyone. Sorry for the radio silence. kate and I are absolutely still going to host The Losers Big Bang. We're working on finalizing the fanwork guidelines to ensure that we're inclusive to all fanwork creators.

Right now, these are the official dates:
Comment party to match up creators and complement creators: May 1, 2012 to May 7, 2012
Official team sign ups: May 8-15, 2012
First check-in: May 15, 2012
Subsequent check-ins: weekly
Larger big bang fanworks should be posted to the AO3 no later than: August 1, 2012
Complementary fanworks should be posted to the AO3 no later than: August 31, 2012
All fanworks will go live: August 31, 2012

Hi!

I somehow missed the poll when it was open (sadface!), and I'm sort of tired tonight, so forgive me a foolish question: does this mean I could pair up with someone who's producing the large piece of fanwork as an artpiece, and write a fic of... min 2,500 words going by the poll, in response/tandem to that? Becuase that'd be cool. :D

Yep, that's right! We're still finalizing the guidelines for the larger fanworks and complements, but you can write a fic as a complement to a fanart, vid, podfic, or any sort of big bang fanwork.

This big bang is also different in that everyone will be signing up for teams right from the start, too! And you can be part of more than one team and create more than one complement, if you think you'll have the time.

Please let me know if anything else is unclear, and I'll try to clarify further. We hope you'll participate in May! We're certainly excited about it. :D
