This sign-up post is so your easily-befuddled mods can keep track of who is doing what, and it's also for you, so if you've found additional cheerleading energy, want to try an out-there complement, or want to offer your betaing skills, you can see at a glance where they'd best fit.

For these sign-ups, (one of) the bang creator(s) should sign up with a top-level comment, following the guidelines below. If the teams have more than one bang, the second (and third, and fourteenth) bang creator should sign up in reply to the top level comment so the whole team remains in a single thread.

We're asking that ONLY BANG CREATORS SIGN UP RIGHT NOW so that we can get a look at how many teams we will have and allow people to make sure they can participate at a level they're comfortable with. Complement sign-ups will happen from May 18.

If you want to ask about a team or hash out more details please do it at the party post. Please don’t try to sign up for complements yet. Last year, we did all signups at the same time; this year, we are separating them to give complement creators a chance to see the entire list of bangs before making a commitment. This will also help the mods make sure everyone has a full team even if they missed the bulk of the comment party and don't know anyone in the fandom yet. (If you get excited and accidentally sign up early, don't worry: we will delete that comment for you, and you can re-post once complement signups are open.)

When posting your bang as a top-level comment, please do the following:

1. Put the team name in the subject line.

2. Include the following information in the body:
-- A brief description of the type of bang (macaroni castle, digital art of Aisha skydiving, post-apocalyptic Clay/Roque fic).
-- Link to your party post thread, if there is further information over there.
-- A note about whether you are okay with people jumping on board with complements, or if you would prefer they go to the party post to discuss first.
-- Plans for team organizations/activities/schedule, if you know it.

TEAM SHEEP OVERLORDS

This is a fibre arts themed team. I am making four knitted items for four characters from The Losers. The actual items will be donated to a charity in San Francisco for homeless and foster teens (so items should be sized and styled appropriately).

Anyone can make items to be included in the package going to the charity as long as they are handmade and appropriate for teens who may not have a steady home or any way to clean or store items when not carried on the body or in a backpack.

Complementors are welcome to work with each other without direct supervision from me if you want to coordinate complements. (For example, if someone wants to provide yarn for someone else to knit into something.)

Items will be collected at my address by the end of October to be sent with the December delivery of charity items.

ETA: Complements of other sorts are welcome, too! I forgot to say. :-) Fic, art, comics, vids, whatever! I do like penne over macaroni, though, FYI.

I will be writing a fic bang - a fusion of the Avengers (primarily movieverse) and the Losers (comics and movie.)

The team's theme is superheroes, Losers style, and people are welcome to jump on board with complements of any kind, no discussion needed, as long as they have something to do with the theme. If you want to discuss your idea, that's cool too; you can leave a comment on the party post or bug me for my email, or whatever. The theme is open to interpretation, too, so go wild. :)

When sign ups are complete, I'll make a Googledoc with my bang and share it with everyone on the team. I'll probably also post semi-weekly team check-ins at my journal, which will be screened to only the team members.

I am more than happy to have anyone willing to do a compliment for this. They can work with me or independent of my input for it. I'd love to see what others would come up with for a graphics especially. Though I'll take just about anything someone was willing to make.

Team Space Pirates

This is going to be a fic, with The Losers in an AU Firefly-like Space Pirates verse! Probably not pirate-pirates, more renegades or outlaws.

The comment-party post is here but there's no extra detail there yet as I only just posted about this - in the nick of time, I hope!

I'd welcome any complements people are inspired to come up with - obvious options are art, or maybe a space-themed fanmix, but I'd be delighted with a macaroni sculpture of a spaceship, or the like! Also keen to have a cheerleader or someone to generally boot me along - I tend to procrastinate so that'd be good. :D

For team organization, I was planning on relying on the weekly check-ins on the comm. I don't think we'll need a lot more than that, but if any cheerleaders/alphas/betas/whipcrackers/organizers want to join in, I'm sure we'd all love to have that kind of support.

This is a fic bang where Cougar is badly injured before the Losers are formed, and he ends up owning a restaurant.

The theme for this team is FOOD (and food porn). I'd love any kind of complements around that, and anyone interested in doing something can work with me or on their own :)

I plan to use my journal to do team check-ins, but all the details will be formalized once the teams are completed!

Team Comics

I will be doing a comics vid bang consisting of an Aisha-centric vid to Aicha (Khaled's version) and one or two others, probably focusing on characters or plotlines that don't appear in the movie.

People are welcome to jump on board with complements as long as they are comics-centric. No need to ask; just sign up.

I will need betas later on when I get vid drafts done. (That means willing eyeballs, not necessarily experienced vid betas.) I am happy to chat/e-mail, but I'm not worried about regular checkins for this bang, but we can chat/e-mail regularly if you'd prefer.

Team Six Million Bucks

I'm planning to write the other half of the plot I came up with for my fic bang last year, so that means were-animals, dubious consent, and Aisha/Jensen/Cougar. This time around, it also means medical kink, human experimentation, and the other characters appearing for more than 10 seconds.

Writing turns me into a needy mess, I am slow as molases, this fic will probably be around 20k, and I will have a number of other commitments towards the due date, so I need to get moving on this early. I need hand holders alphas and betas. I like to bounce ideas off of people in live chat and use google docs. I'd like to have a pretty interactive team, especially early on. No need to ask; just sign up.

Ideally, I'd prefer a complement that's directly related to the fic rather than just on a related topic. (See the faboo complement I got last year? Go leave kudos.) But drop me a line over at the party post if you're interested, and we'll talk. Any media type welcome.

Red Team is involved with a AU fic that takes place in a world where the Losers never joined the Army and where Roque married Jensen's sister and fathered Beth (Jensen's niece). AND THEN JENNIFER DIES BECAUSE I'M EVIL AND ROQUE IS LEFT TO PICK UP THE PIECES OF HIS LITTLE FAMILY. BWAH-HAHAHAHA!
*ahem* I mean, this is a family centric fic as much as it's about Jensen and Cougar working on getting better and then getting together. Cougar's sister and mother are important characters in this fic so if you hate OFC's, run, RUN FOR THE HILLS.

The party is in my pants over here.

When it comes to complements I'm 150% comfortable with anyone joining in for any reason. Seriously, create a dance video for this, draw me a picture of the Jensen-Roque using only balsamic vinegar, or pester me to make sure I'm writing. (Side note: I'm 250% comfortable with people pestering me to make sure I'm writing and not wasting my time doing things like working or sleeping. I work best under pressure.)

I'm hesitantly planing on making bi-weekly check ins on my progress on the party post but I don't expect anyone else to do this if they don't want too. If you wish to join in on check ins I would welcome your reports with open arms. If you don't - I trust you.

(And if something comes up and you can't complete your complement DO NOT WORRY. Life gets pretty hectic with little to no notice and I understand that.)

Team Mixing Bowl

This is a collaborative effort between bliumchik, kisahawklin, maharetr, and nagasvoice to make a set of fanmixes large enough to make a bang. We're also going to write drabbles to make our own complement.

We're happy to have more people add to the drabble collection, and we'd love any other complements people are willing to bring to the party! Cover art comes to mind (at least for my mixes, as I am not an artist of any sort), but hey, decoupage earphones or macaroni castles always welcome. Cheerleaders, Alpha listeners, whip-crackers also welcome!

Team American Classic

bliumchik and kate have each offered to write a script and I'll be drawing. Details are still in the air, but my interests lie in the direction of Cougar and Clay/Aisha/Roque, so discussions have started there. (Here's the party thread.)

As part of Team American Classic, I'm committing to sketches, lines, and ink, and roughly a 24 page book including cover. At any point in time after lines are complete, I can hand off toning or coloring to interested parties.

I'd love to actually print this kickstarter style, so complements of additional single-page artwork may be welcome, or volunteers with graphic skills to help block in color or do layout if it looks like printing is a possibility.

Sneakin' in another big bang! This is the (visual/2D art series of 3 works) story of a mental health crisis meet-up wherein Cougar (who is on a pysch hold and just wants to forget he was ever in the military) meets Jensen, long-time resident who has delusions (or is haunted by ghosts?) of his team who are always with him and never leave (Aisha was their sniper... if they existed). This thing will be be done in gouache or watercolour and ink. I welcome any complements of any sort and will share any progress doodles and thoughts and whatnot required! (Not that I want to limit anyone's thoughts, complete remixes are also cool!)
